67 68 camaro tilt bucket seat ?

i bought a 55 chevy with a67 or 68 camaro bucket seat in it. the seat has a tilt unit on it where you pull a lever & the whole seat tilts foward is this a camaro part our a aftermarket piece ? are they rare ? has anyone seen one on a camaro ? thanks

I've never seen one and a quick look through some Camaro books didn't list it as an option, factory or dealer installed.

are you talking about tilting back as in laying down or folding up(forward)? All camaro seats tilt forward to allow for rear seat access.

no the whole seat tilts up (foward ) i guess to give more room for big people to get in ???
