I hope I put this is in the right spot!
I want to clean it back to new again. I'm thinking of using a little airplane spray paint remover on a tooth brush and rag. Will that work? I dont want to ruin the finish on the manifold. BTW, its a Edelbrock RPM performer if your wondering what finish I'm talking about. The grey one, not chrome.

Thanks in advance. -Mo

Goof off makes several different types of remover for different types of paints, just make sure you get the right one and you should be able to spray it or pour it on a towel and then wipe off the overspray.

Good luck.

Call Edelbrock and ask if Acetone or low grade paint thinner will hurt, they'll also have some suggestions. If it is light overspray (mostly drift) then you can use normal high-cut polishing compond and rub it out (was not clear if your intake had a smooth coating or none at all).

Carb cleaner did the trick. Looks brand spanking new!
