Right now my 70 nova has 215/65R15 in front and 215/70R15 in the rear. I'm needing to buy new tires since the guy I bought the car from just put beat up tires on the car. What sizes would everyone recommend? I'm looking for a sporty stance and also getting ready to install my Hotchkis suspension kit which might make a differance. I like the more lower profile tire look but I've only dealt with the bigger rim sizes on other projects but now I have 15" rally wheels and I'm going to live with them for awhile until I get other things done.

It depends on rim size, but if they are 7" rim, those 215/65/15 are about as good as it gets. Being only a 15" wheel, if you go much lower profile it is going to look like a Impala with 13s!

Well I definately don't want it to look like an impala with 13's So the tires sizes I have on the car now would be a good choice to stay with?

I wouldn't go with much smaller sidewall than you have on there now or it will look like you're running space saver spares. You can go wider if you measure carefully but I wouldn't go down in overall diameter/shorter sidewall. Best to stuff the wheelwell and it will look tough when it gets lowered and wait for the budget to get big wheels with lower profile tires. That's why they call it plus sizing. You go up in wheel diameter and down in sidewall height maintaining a similar overall diameter to keep the proportions looking correct.

I do have access to 225/70/15 v rated PV41 cop Firestones and should fit 7s great. pm me and when I get back on I can maybe hook you up, but they are pricey tires for the size, but very high technology performance tires.
