Would anyone know a place in the Bay Area, CA where I can have a 12 bolt rear shipped to Florida?

When we get rear axles they always come in on a small pallet. If you contact any any trucking freight company and ask them. Call UPS. Knight Trucking.

I can't remember the freight companies that drop at our store...sorry.

Is it a complete rear? If so Tony is right Truck Freight is the only choice. If its jus the housing it may go UPS or DHL.

Try FedEx Freight.

Forward Air will beat all others, should be about half the cost, but you will have to drop it off at the freight terminal.

Ditto on ForwardAir- I've sent axles to NM, CA, NY, and transmissions all over. EASY to deal with at the terminal as well.

FedEx Freight or UPS Freight.....my diff came from Moser via UPS Freight, but I had to pick it up at their terminal, or pay dearly for a residential delivery. I just borrowed a neighbors little flat bed trailer to pick it up. You will have to drop it at a terminal, whoever you choose. The trucking industry is very competitive, so call around for pricing.
