Any suggestions for a newer GM M/C for my 69? Currently I have disks on the front and drums on the rear. Thanks.

Stock discs and drums? Are you looking for manual or vacuum assist MC options? By "newer" do you mean that you would like to go with an aluminum MC to save weight and clean up the appearance, or do you just want something newer than 1969? We're pushing 40 years of options...so some additional details as to what you're searching for would be most helpful.

Sorry! Not enough info. Yes stock brakes disc/drums at the moment. I am looking to clean up a bit with something newer preferably aluminum. I'm piecing together the parts to convert over to a larger disc/disc set-up but I dont see that happening soon at the moment. I was hoping there was some newer factory GM M/C that I could go get from the local Napa.

That answers the first question, how about the second one? Manual or power brake car?

OK, I'm striking out here. Power is the weapon of choice.

No worries, we all have our off days.

I like the 98-02 LS1 F-body MC for vacuum boosted C5/C6 setups. It's light weight, relatively low cost compared to the C5/C6 units, and has a 1" bore which works well with vac assist IMO, so long as you've got at least 14+ inches Hg vacuum to work with. I also like the screw-on cap and the fact that the reservoir is designed to be mounted on an incline as well.

The cons are that the ports are on the passenger side, however potential interferences can usually be avoided with a few snug bends of the hard line. The ports are metric bubble flares...that bothers some people.

Hopefully others will chime in with their favs.

How about a 1981 Dodge D150 master? 1-1/8 bore aluminum master with plastic reservoir. You'll just have to widen the mounting ear holes to 3-3/8 on center from 3.2.

1-1/8 bore is way too big if you are running c4/c5/c6 calipers.

Hydroboost is the way to go for what you want

True, but he has stock brakes.
