My PHR showed up today and I have to admit, I was thrilled to see a 79 Camaro sporting some baked on, less than perfect factory paint. I really like the fact that this made it to press! And that it reminds us (or me at least) that sometimes building a car doesn't require perfection, just attention to the functional details and most importanly - having fun with a drivable car. OH, another cool thing - transparent air cleaners - I need one!

Yeah, did you notice the shot from under the car?!? What a sleeper...

He did a rotiserie restoration on that car, but was careful not to hurt the patina'd paint.

The underside, engine bay and interior are all perfect. I thought it was pretty cool.

Nowadays cars don't have to be "perfect" to get in the magazine... they just have to be cool in some way.
