Here is my ls1 in a 1967 Camaro. I am machinist by trade. With some help from a couple of friends from work, we designed & machined a new valve cover. We relocated the coil packs so the old style stamped cover could be placed over the coil packs. Then I drilled holes in the side of the stamped cover for the plug wires. I still have some work to do covering wires & some other detail work.

Eric...that kind of valve covers are those? They look like old fashioned SBC covers.

They are SBC covers that I made into coil covers. They came of of a 1967 Camaro 327 engine.

I love the old valve cover idea. They look great, I can only imagine the questions you get at the car shows. The other motors and engine bays are works of art as well. Nice work Randy
