I thought I would post some pictures of the progress so far on my 67 mustang coupe.
The floors have been removed and the art morrison chassis fitted.
I have fabricated the front floors but am just starting on the metal behind the seats, the tubs, and the trunk floor.

Good! glad to hear that! which suspension set up are you running? and does the frame come with a transmission crossmember already or do you need to weld that in as well?

I am running the air bagged setup, mustang II up front and four bar in the back. No engine mounts or trani crossmember were in it. You have to put those in yourself.

Awesome. Will you be making the body a removable type or welding the body directly to the frame? Chris

I am having the brackets that I will be welding to the frame fabricated in the next couple of weeks. I will be mounting through the floor in 6 places, close to the kick panels, seat mounts and near the back seat trani hump.
I will post a CAD sketch when I get a moment.

I had fabricated two long L brackets with 4 mounting placements that I welded onto the inner rocker. This will sit on the frame. I am making some threaded rods that I will weld into the frame.

Very easy and very nice. Thanks for taking the time to post your pictures. My first idea is very similar except I used a full piece of channeling that surrounded 3 sides of the frame rail (top and 2 sides). I would like to see pictures of the floor pans you fabricated also if you get a chance. I am wondering if you will be using basically a flat sheet over the top of the frame rails or will be recessing some of the pan into the frame openings. Thanks again. Chris
This car is going to be killer. I love it.

I live in Burnaby but work in Poco, not far from your shop.
Thanks for the offer. I work on it in my spare time, which really isn't much. I have thought about sending it to a shop but have not got to that point yet.
When I'm out in your area I'll pop by.

Yep Princess auto home shop.... The body was flimsey once I took the floor out but thats why I put it on the frame before I cut out the firewall. Was not as bad as I thought though. I thought it would flare out pretty good but it wasn't that bad.
It's nerve wracking creating the process but a hell of alot of fun!!!

Took a couple of weeks to get all the parts made then took me about 30-40hrs (I am pretty slow) to get everything fitted placed, tacked then finish welded. Still have the back floor and trunk to finish though

I got the area under the rear seat completed and welded in. This gave it enough structure so that I could lift the body off the frame so that I can finish the seam welds from underneath, remove the rear wheel wells to put in the new tubs and finish the trani and engine mounts....

I have put the motor and trani in and have the motor mounts finalized. I need to now put in the trani crossmember but I can not align the crossmember with the trani mount as the exhaust cut throughs ar right in line. I plan to have the crossmeber behind the cut throughs and cantilever the mount forward I have a mockup in the pictures and have drawn what the finished mounts will look like. What do you guys think. Would this work or put to much stress on the crossmember?

After some more thought and a kick in the ass from a friend to do it right I worked on the attached updated design. A hell of a lot cleaner looking and a much better fit for the car. Now waiting for the final cost to waterjet or plasma cut the main braces so I can get them done and put in.

Anyways thought I would share some pictures.
Same frame but changed out the motor to a 2018 GT setup from MARS instead of the Cobra motor.
