275/50-17 on 8" wheel?

Will this be OK? Planning on a set of AR TTO wheel but they only come in 8" width. If not, I guess a 255/50 would be about right.

Yes it'll work. The range for that tire is 7.5-9.5. It is a tall tire though = 27.8, with the 255/50 being 27.1. The 255 with fit the 8" rim perfect and I would go that route.

Look at my garage. In those pic I had 255/50's up front on an 8" wheel. The 275/50 were on a 9.5" wheel on the rears.

That was my old setup.. I'm down with the 40's now. :)

My M&H Drag Radial 275/50-17s fit my 8" rims fine. No issues on the street or track.
