I have had this car for 10 years and I have worked on it here and there, I have had other projects going at the same time.. I bought the car on my 18th birthday for $200 and the guy told me he had rebuilt the motor and couldnt get it to run longer then 10 seconds.. I paided for the car and took it home and found that he had the electric fuel pump in backwards, spun the hoses around and fired right up.. The problem that I had now is that it had a flat cam from hit trying to fire it.. So I pulled the cam and bought a new Comp Cam Kit, the motor in my Daily(1962 Chevy C-10 went south, so I have to put all the stuff in the truck..

Day I bought the Camaro.

The truck I had to put the Cam and everything in.

Ofcourse I built the motor to hot to drive daily, so I had to by another truck, so I bought a 2000 GMC Sierra 4.8L V8. I cant leave anything I own alone so I put 20's on it and put exhaust, intake, built tranny, 3200 stall, Rollpan, 5/7 DJM Kit, Hotchkis Sway bars, NX 125 shot,Custom Tune, Ls1 Electric Fans.

Then I started working on the Camaro again once I paided the truck off.. So I fixed the rust the the window area.

Then I decided I want a motorcycle again after a 6 year break, so I bought a 2007 GSXR 750

Once again, cant leave it alone.. So I put Arrow Euro Cup replica Exhaust-Motovation Frame Sliders-Power Commander III-BMC Race Filter
-Hotbodies DB Smoked Windscreen-Driven 16/45 Sprockets-RK Gold X-Ring Chain-KOS Racing Spools
-Marchesini Forged Aluminum Wheels-Undertail Delete-Pilot Power 2cts-Pro Grip Gel Grips-Pazzo Shorty Levers-Motographics Tank Pad

So about 2 weeks ago I pull the old Camaro out of its hole and started to work on it again.I replaced the Driver trunk extension, quarter and fender( the car had ran into a poll or something) and then repaired the dash area where I had some rust.. I know it doesnt look like much, but I will am doing the car after work when I have time too..

Welcome! Nice work on the 1/4 panel, that's quite a lot of work to do.
On the Gw lca's: I have the uppers and lowers installed in my 2nd gen.
and they work great, are really nice pieces, have extra material at the lower shock mounts (needed for coil-overs), and Delrin bushings.
That said, I have learned recently that the 2nd gen stock lca's are actualy quite good, and new lowers are not necessary.
Good luck with your project

Update..

I have done all the tub repairs and the car is in its first stage of bodywork, I bought a one peice spoiler off ebay for 40 bucks and was given a drivers door from a guy off of NastyZ28, I bought the TVS Hotchkis Kit with all new Moog Steering components, Painless Wiring Harness, Harwood 4" Cowl Hood, Boyd Coddington Rebels, Moser 12 bolt, SSBC rear disc brake kit, C6 Z51 front brake kit from flynbye performance, Global West Upper and Lower Control Arms, Pro Tour F-Body's G-Brace, SFC, and Solid Body Mounts, and in the process of building a 496 BBC ..

A couple of things have changed but it is still coming along..

I have the car pretty much a done when it comes to bodywork, I just have to do the last stage on bodywork before I can pull it all apart to send off the subframe to get it media blasted..

I agree, nice work!

My wife and I just picked up a 70 and are about to start working on it. In fact we drove thru Dripping Springs on our way back with our new "Baby".

Did the hood today, the weather finally worked with me and I was able to longboard the hood and to my suprise it is very straight for a fiberglass hood.. I only had the put filler where I had made the lines tighter and the cowl and that is it. The little inperfections will be filled with this Slick Sand product that I use on everything that is fiberglass around here.. It is a Very High Build Polyester Filler..

I also decided that buying a kit to make my late Model Booster work with my pedal assembly for 65 bucks was pointless. So I made one out of my old Booster rod, peice of thick wall steel tubing, and a fine Thread Nut.. Worked Great!! What do you think??
