...17x9.5" wheels on both front and rear for a '71 Chevelle?

Will they fit without modifications?

I plan on upgrading both front and rear suspension components (through SC&C) and don't want to work against the improved performance. I plan to slowly start using her for a daily driver and want the ease of rotation and spare storage (that's mainly why no staggered setup). I like that extra width for the slightly more aggressive look.

Any suggestions on tire setup and possible adjustments (offset and such)?

Thanks,
Sean

You can run a 17x9.5 all the way around with a 5.5" backspace... do you plan to lower the car at all?

I am not really sure what would be best concerning lowering. I am still trying to figure out the proper stance after the upgrades and such (trying to learn as much through the forums). I believe I will lower some though, 1-2".

Any thoughts as to what might be a good range?

Thanks,
Sean

Keep in mind almost all tires ava. will be directional so rotation will require remounting each time. Other than that go for it.

If you didn't switch sides and only moved front tires to rear and rear to front then you wouldn't have to deal with remounting. It may not be optimal...just another idea.
