I am looking for a movable (shop space problems) drive on lift with a 9k capcity. I see lots of made in china lifts and some cheap prices. A couple companies claim they make the "best, safest" ect but they are still made in china if you read the fine pint.
My question is.....Who makes a Made in USA 4 post lift that is true 9k cap. and is MOVABLE without breaking the bank????
Superlift say USA but I cant find much about it.Correction after finding the model # there are several posts on Z06 and Vetteforum and a Lotus forum about them and they all like them.
Back yard Buddy say USA also not much info on it. But what I see is people dont like their maketing.
Thanks in advance!!!

My co-worker had a back yard buddy in his garage and the stop/locks and release mech where down right scary to operate. It broke after a years use and he replaced it with a bend pack. I wouldn't recommend it. He did make enough money with it to afford a new one so it worked out. I do like the bend pack as far as cheaper vervions are concerned.
He bought it here and they shipped it for free. http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_6970_200320579_200320579
I made him a set of castor plates so he can move it but its now bolted to the garage floor.

My buddy bought a two post lift from here and it is great and he loves it. Call them and ask them about it. Supposidly they have a US made version and a cheapnese one too. Also, the owner has a bad pro mod car too!
They are made just a few towns over from me.

You should think about the two post lift. A buddy has a huge shop, after I helped him put his new drive-on in, it suddenly felt 1/2 as big in there. They take up quite a bit more space and the worst part is you can't even take off wheels and things like you could a two-post.

Thanks for the info guys,I will look into Bend Pack. The wheels on the Superlift are removable,my problem with a mounted 2 post is the width of my shop I could not get a car on each side of it after its installed.
If I had the 4 post on wheels I could move it over to the wall and atleast be kinda out of the way. Time for somemore reading up.

I did a lot of research on this subject a little over a year ago. I also had the same criteria as you. This is the company I purchased my lift from:
http://allamericanlifts.com/
The product is built in Kansas. I know the website is not the nicest, but I am real happy with the lift I bought.
If you want specifics on my experience with them, feel free to PM me.

I own a larger shop and did 2 years of searching for the perfect lift, I have used a ton of them and BEND PAK has been by far the best and great deal. Pay a little more and get a BEND PACK you will not regret it.

Not sure where they are built, but I get Eagle Lift catalogs in the mail every now and then.

Thanks again guys, I really like the BendPak HD-7P for the $$ and free shipping but the thing is 220v......that would be a pain with a extension cord that big.

When you order, ask them if they can substitute a 110v motor. When I ordered mine few years back they said I could get it with either. It'll be a bit slower going up though. I ended up going w/ the 220v and made my own extension 40' cord with parts from Home Depot.
