Biggest 15 In. wheel and tire combo?

Well, my plans have changed becasue I cant afford the wheels i want at this time. Iam taking off my AFX spindles and c5 brakes and putting stoick spndles and discs on the front. I also have stock control arms. Im goin gor the old school trans am look for a little while. Whats the widest 15 inch wheel and tire i can fit on the front of a stock suspension 68 camaro.

No body knows? Is there any forums for trans am style cars? Or a page i can find all the trans am specs maybe?

Old-school Trans Am,eh...?That's all we do here...:usa:
We got several members running 15's still but those are '69 Camaro's and '69-'70 Boss Mustangs.Those guys are running 15x8 wheels w/265/50-15 rubber.Rear tires are 295/50's.Don't know about '68's though,I know those wheelwells are smaller.

I have 295 50's going on the rear and if i could fit 265's up front that would be great!

So a 295/50/15 fits fine on the back of a 69 Camaro? Any pictures of that on a set of 15x8 rallys?
