Hello!

I want to install my new brake set-up from a 92' Corvette into a 69' Camaro. Now I'm worry about the thread size of the brake caliber bracket from the Vette. I bought 9/16-12 but this is not right. Now I'm thinking it's a german thread size M14x2. Does anybody know if it's right?

I know that the C5 (1997-2004) & C6 (2005+) Corvettes use M14x2 hardware, Class 10.9. M14 hardware is about the only thing you could mistake for 9/16 as the OD is nominally .551" versus .563". I would think an M14x2.0 bolt shouldn't be too hard to come by in Germany.

The rear C4 calipers use M12x1.75 if I'm not mistaken, but couldn't swear one way or the other regarding the fronts.
