Here is a couple pics, and a video of the 1972 Olds Cutlass Convertible that I have been working on. Its not finished by no means but it does run under its own power now. Details below. I hope to have the engine bay cleaned up, the gauges installed, and the final tune and dyno in a couple weeks.

Looks great! I was just wondering what you went with the single plane. I was also curious why you deleted the coolant crossover tube in the front between the heads.

Andrew, I got my hands on four of the Edelbrock intakes years ago, before they came out. It just happened to work with this car, and it was free. I'm going to use the 442 hood and make it functional, so I wanted the car to still look old school. I know its not the best for all around performance, but the engine does make right at 600hp with it.
The coolant crossover tube is not really needed. I bleed the system with the plugs removed to eliminate air bubbles. I never had any problem doing so, and I eliminate the line going to the radiator. After we did the copper 69 Camaro a couple years ago, I decieded to start doing the new cars I build this way. I think it looks better. On some cars we take the time to tap the heads, and install a threaded insert. So that you don't see the plugs at all. You can also install bleeders if you like.

I love that setup in the A-body Olds.

How straight forward was the engine and 4L80E swap? Did you need to modify the trans tunnel? Can you point me to a good resourse for details on this chassis engine/trans swap?
Thanks

I'd like to hear some more details on what it takes to make the injection setup work, do you still need to tie in the OEM computer? what is the equivalent offered out there, looked on edelbrock's site and saw manifolds and fuel rail kits.
