Got a press release on this and thought it was pretty cool. Surprised it took someone this long to offer one. I think it's around $1000, so it's not cheap.. but it's pretty damn cool.

I like the graphics, but would want a full sized tach on the right with gages inside it. I have a console gage pack allready, so maybe just oil pressure in the tach would be nice.

I was thinking this would be cool if combined with a digital shift light on the column.
I know for a "race" deal you might want a big tach, but for most everything else this is a great solution for the way a 68/67 dash is laid out.
Hey, Wouldn't it be cool if they could swap the speedo and the tach? So it would be a BIG tack and a small speedo... hmmm..

Sorry, this has been out for awhile. Classic Instruments can design the cluster to how you want it. http://www.classicinstruments.com/index.aspx?documentID=customgauges
Maybe that they are going to stock this design, but this cluster has been out for about 2 to 3 years. I have consider using this way before "Iamtheonlyreal1". http://www.classicinstruments.com/index.aspx?documentID=camaro
One thing that is nice about Classic Instruments as compared to Autometer or any other gauge manufacturer. If you want something custom, for example an Led turnsignals in the gauge. Classic will install it for you. It might cost more, but it makes your car unique.
I sent an email to Autometer, but never got a reply for that option. Not many mounting options on 67-68 gauge cluster for led lights.

probably trying to promote it. I have seen it on their website before. Price is hard to swallow when I can get a tic-toc tach and console guages for that price.

Yes, Classic instruments can build that for you. There is a lot of options and possibilities. Their Catalog is better than their website though.

I guess you need to add up the cost of a full set of 6 gauges and all the stuff for install.
I've heard their stuff is top notch. I checked and I guess this has been out for a bit but they are just now promoting it.
It's a very clean solution for having full gauges in a very uncluttered package.

I have added it up and price is the same. $400 for the console guages, $300 for the tic-toc tach, which leaves $300 for incidentals. Now if that new setup was in the $650 range, it might be something to consider.

We have just sent out a dash for customization to classic and they are definitley not cheap. We have a 66 corvette sebring replica and a c6 vette cluster was molded in before it was brought to me. Due to the can bus arrangement on the dash it was impossible to operate without a whole lot of work. I called Classic to see if they could retrofit their guages into the c6 dash and they said yes but it costs $4500. The customer wanted that dash though so he said do it. So it looks like the stock c6 dash with the backlighting and all that but it has aftermarket gauge "guts" inside it. For $4500 I could think of much better things to do than that but this guy wants to be the first to have it so hes paying for it

The custom tricks cost big money, especially if you are the only that can do it.

has anyone seen one of these close up? Can the guages be mounted in an original cluster? I had my original cluster painted a high gloss black along with the rest of the dash and was just wanting to re-use my old cluster. I have contacted them direct but have yet to get an answer.

I don't see why not since it currently uses an original cluster. You MIGHT have to modify the back a bit.
I'm going to see if they can make one where the tach is big and the speedo is small.

As long as you are willing to pay for it, they will make anything.

RedLine Gauge Works in Newhall, Ca should be able to do it.
They rebuilt/customized an instrument cluster I had for my C10 project and it came out killer. Their attention to detail is awesome.
