This site talks about a car with a motor that runs on gas, e85 or biodiesel. I don't understand how. I understand how a motor can run off regular gas or e85, just change the timing and air fuel ratio. But how do you also run the same motor off biodiesel? http://www.chevrolet.com/electriccar/

If you read the fine print, it's not necessarily the same motor, just the same platform, i.e. the Volt Flexdrive system can be based off of gas, e85, or biodiesel, not necessarily all using the same motor.

It would be cool if they found a way of varying the compression and creating a joint spark/glow plug so that you could run the same engine on whatever fuel was handy.

But let's see GM bring a decent Camaro to market before we get our hopes up about an electric car.

You could use a turbine engine to power the generator. They'll run on about anything.

Hey look at this video I found, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aIaJgjV9o94 This guy put diesel in his gas car and it seems to run better than I thought it would. What will ultimatly happen if this guy continues driving his car like that?
