wow that thing looks and sounds like a beast. The lip on those rears tires is huge. I love how they were able to fit everything in the engine and have it appear to look factory.

That is what i will eventually do to my '65 Galaxie 500 (except of course with a turbo powerstoke). I like the idea of 1000ft-lb and 25mpg!

The Grand National is about the only 80's car I like. Cool but still not digging the smoke.

yup..its a Cutlass that came with a stock diesel...and he put all the GN parts on it. I remember everyone scratchin there head why..but California emissions exempts testing diesel cars...therefore as long as he kept it a diesel its exempt from testing! Think i read its 1000hp and gets 30Mpg on the highway...but its been a year or so since i read about it so dont quote me

It's a heck of a lot better than the redneck 1-ton Dodges around here with 8inch stacks stuck up thru the bed floors belching black smoke and blinding you if you happen to be behind them ! LOL ! Seriously, I have kids in 8,000lb. trucks wanting to race my '99 SS Camaro all the time . I applaud Banks for the "no smoke" diesels, cause I have bad respiritory problems and am severely allergic to diesel exhaust fumes .
