I think I read it somewhere, but can you share the wheel/tire setup again?

sure, american racing Torque thrust 2x, 17x7 with 4" BS up front with 235/45/17 and 17x9.5 in the rear with 4.75" BS 285/40/17. I used to run 17x8s up front with 4" BS but after the LS1 brake swap the wheels were pushed out just enough to scrub pretty often after i lowered it so i went with the 17x7s.

Would the 17x8's rub before you lowered it?

they did a tad, but they were original saggy stock springs. With a decent set of stock replacement springs it would have been fine. I would probably go with 4.25 or 4.5" BS on an 8" wheel and the ls1 brakes but 4" can work fine. It might rub at full lock with a bit more BS but id rather have that then scrub on the bumps.

did you used to run nitto drag radials in a 315?? If that was you, did you have to tub your rear wheel wells??

yes that was me. Honestly the 315 nittos weren't really that much wider than the 285s especially mounted on a 9.5" rim. And no I didn't have to modify anything. I went to a street radial because i ended up hydroplaning in a rain storm on the nittos. They were a bit lower than I thought and even limping along at 40 mph on the free way I ended up in the wall.

BTW: Cool 67 GTO. My dad has a 67 GTO convertible thats about in the same condition as the first set of pics on your cardomain site. I can't wait to get started on the frame off on it.
