97 firebird gauges in first getn camaro

I am attempting to put a 97 trans am dash in my first get camaro. I want to know if anyone has used the gauge pod from a fourth gen trans or camaro in a first gen and how it worked. How do you make the gauges work? Any help would be appreciated.

Camaroboy put a 4th gen dash in his 69. Myabe he will see this thread and chime in. There is also another guy that put one in the 67 or 68 Firebird but he doen't post much.
