Howdy Gents:
Has anyone tried Foose Nitrous Legends with C5 brakes on 1st Gen. Camaros? I have an Art Morrison subframe and want to use C5 brakes. I'd prefer to go with 17X8 and a 4.75-5.0" backspace but I'm concerned the C5 Calipers may hit the spokes and/or rim. I know I can add spacers but I'm only willing to do so if the backspace is in the 4.5-5.0 range. In the event they don't fit does anyone know if 18x8 clears?
Thanks for the help!

For a 8" rim, the backspace will need to be about 5.25". I think 5" B.S. will be too tight, but you may be able to test fit first to check. Or maybe buy one of those wheel measuring tools?
But for caliper clearance, B.S. isn't the issue. It's actually a fuction of the wheel and spoke design, and they should have at least 1.3125" to clear the Wilwood SL6 calipers (I know you aren't using Wilwoods, but it would be best to allow to upgrade in the future). If it is slightly less, a spacer can be used. The standard C5 brake will require 17" minimum, 18" if you decide on a 14" rotor.
I tried to find a phone number for Foose wheels, but they don't have one listed on their website. It's all done by email...what a pain...

Or, a dealer like us can figure it out for you, and since we stock FOOSE legends, I can measure one up for you.
In 18", they come 18x7 with a 4" backspace and in 18x8 with a 5" backspace. It will clear C5 brakes.
If you haven't noticed, I have sets of these on sale in stock with tires:

I have a few of the 18x8's in stock too, so let me know.
