I've been working on this for a while now, since it was brought up in the sticker thread. What do you all think? should I continue? Have I gone mad?

maybe use a 60's mustang, possibly a 68 fastback or so, so it is more distinguishable as a Mustang.

I think it's great and would like to see a Challenger sticker as well. Good job Tony. :bananna2:

Great logo Tony! IMHO, the 69-70 fastback body is the best, followed by the 67-68 fastback, so I'd stay with the 70 Mustang, but do a Mopar, Chevy, and Import (maybe a VW), so every camp is covered. Then sell them on this site!

Thats cool too! How bout a Mustang, and Camaro from every generation, TriFive Chevys, Challegers, Cudas, Chevelles, Nissan 240Z'z, VW Bugs, WRX,s, etc. Put em on Tshirts, and go for it!
wrx's are evil...no.
Tony if you wanna e-mail me that stuff I'll work on it. I do graphic design as a pretty big part of my occupation.

Hey Tony,
Looks like you got your work cut out for ya! LOL. Now you gotta design another 20 logos!
Hey I like the 69-70 Camaro for the Mustang version - being a Mustang guy myself. I like the 67-68 Mustangs a lot but the 69-70 Mustangs were meaty, chunky, and muscular. More muscle car-esque. Then came the "fat years" 71-73, The mustang ate way too many ice cream bars! LOL!
Nice job Tony on the logos.

The 67/68 style is the cleanest , Camaro/Mustang/Cuda/ should be in the first round of stickers/shirts.

I'd love a Mustang pro-touring sticker. As the owner of a '70 I might be a bit biased by saying I think I like the '70 sportsroof you've chosen. :icon996: However, if you're interested in a bit broader appeal, you might use a '69 which I always see as a kind of bridge between the '67-'68 and the '70 and '71-'73s. I think it has a '60s vibe to the front end with the quad headlamps, but it's also more agressive than earlier models, which feels more '70s-ish. Just a thought...

What about using a fictisious car? Because of the many differant cars and trucks belonging to this forum. Just a thought.
Why use a car? To make all the possible combinations (Hey, Why have a 1st Gen when I own a 2nd Gen .... never mind a Dart... or F-100... or Delorien.... etc... etc...) My suggestion is pick a generic element. Like a Wheel... or rear suspension... or steering wheel....
I think most of us have... or wish to have, wheels on our car.
(P.S. Hey Larry.... don't you love it when someone steals your baby and starts running with it! Thanks for your willingness to let us all have input!)
(P.S.S. Hey Tony..... that Mustang ROCKS!)

I gotta ask... Why didn't you start with a large version of the original logo and modify that? Then all you would have to do is make a cartoon-ified vehicle to replace the Camaro with, such as in PSP, PS, or what have you... a black line drawing effect tool can make a drawing like that in about 5 minutes, then stretch and/or resize the wheels and roofline and viola, each kind of car.
It wouldn't surprize me if Larry had a logo without a car on it to start with. Even if he doesn't, I know he at least has a larger version of the existing logo to get things looking correct without to much modification... He sent me a copy of it yesterday for my glass/metal etching project.
BTW, I'm not putting down your skills in any way. I just noticed that the PT circle portion of the graphic wasn't the same and easily could be. Did you draw those by hand?

I am the one that brought up the Mustang thing BUT I think the idea of a generic logo is the best for all involved. Or at the very least Camaro ,Mustang and one other car that a poll can figure out.

Just an FYI, I am working on another sticker I hope to finish soon. It does not have a car on it but it does say a lot. I'll post my idea soon. My Fiance drew one up that is pretty close to what I want on a napkin at Denny's recently.

I've obtained spy photos of the new logo idea via declassified Russian spy satellites...

dear god. what have I started? My internet connection will be down for a week, and I've been peeking in from work. (agiants the rules) But I just had to log in and thank everyone for the kudos and input. Yeah, the pic was freehand, all of it. I have a horrible knock off of photoshop with limited abilitys to do line drawings and stuff.
Im getting photo shop this week though. (and after effects) so more, better work will ensue.
thanks again all!

Bnoon, That's funny!
I like the idea of one car each from the "BIG 3".

Mustang
Charger

If you guys need any of those cars for the Pro-Touring emblem drawn up on the computer for the CNC machine again let me know. I did the modifications to the last emblem in Autocad and Larry actually used them to cut out the aluminum emblems, so shoot me an e-mail Larry if you need any help with it again. Any car any shape...anything. No problem.
Off topic. Jagarang. Why was that GT4 car list posted in here. Please delete that list and just post a link to the GT4 thread to save room.
