It is kind of cool.

I just wish GM could start making more cool cars in America first.

This, like the G8, the previous GTO, is another rebadged / slightly rebodied version of a Holden vehicle that's currently in production and on the road in Australia. (Also why a lot of the Camaro engineering / chassis work is coming from down under.)

China's got the full-size RWD Buicks.

Meanwhile we've got the Vette, the slushbox G8, and promises that GM is looking into more RWD options for the U.S. at some point in the future.

I wish GM could make more decent small cars so that they could offer some better RWD V8s here and still meet the CAFE standards.

It does look pretty cool, although how much bed room would you realistically have with a Zeta based truck? I would think that the independent rear would eat up too much space.

Reminds me of the Dodge Rampage years ago that was lame at best but it was made from an even smaller platform , so you never know how well it might go over? A lot of people might give up their pickup if it had allwheel drive and room for space that never gets used just like their pickup:screwy:

It looks different but not so much like a Camaro to me , more like a Cadillac and with all of the ways they have been going why not do this too.

GM does need to get their act together I have been writing a lot of emails and letters lately begging for some better cars G8 is cool but how about a sixspeed? I was excited when I first saw it... but then I went to order one and what's this? NO MANUAL??? This is another fine example of why kids think domestic cars are for old people!

BTW bigvegan, I had an 05 GTO best car I ever owned. Wish I had not got rid of it.

I'm not a fan.

Don't like "ute's" myself.
I prefer my performance cars separated from my pickup trucks. :D
