I came across an article about the International Race Of Champions auctioning off all there assets. It's kinda sad to see the series be killed off finally since it's been around for about 3 decades. Needless to say there should be some nice equipment and race cars for good deals. www.irocracing.com (http://www.irocracing.com)

More detail if you follow the link, but the Cliff notes version is for lack of sponsorship.

I thought Crown Royal would be the shot in the arm that the series needed when the came on a few years ago, but I guess the cost-benefit of a partial schedule with Roush won out.

NASCAR? Don't you mean the "Cookie Cutter Go Cart Series"?

X2 way too commercial, and nothing in common with with real cars. I hope they will put the "stock" back in it, but not holding my breath.
That might even bring the old theory "race on Sunday, sell on Monday theory back into practice Lord knows the OEM's could use all the help they can get!
Too bad about IROC. It is a total "drivers" series, and I was hoping to see a new version of one with the new Camaro :crying:
