It figures he would post video of the slowest turn on the whole track. I hate that turn. I see the smoke out the exhaust in one of the pics. It was getting oil from the breather on the valve cover back into the intake. Someday I will add breather tanks.

Could you hear the turbos spool up over the other cars? I LOVE the sound of a turbo.

I couldn't hear it at all! It's very quiet compared to the other cars that were out there.

Larry, I sent you the video, it's AVI, so pretty large file size, - 15 MB. Perhaps you can convert it to a smaller file type.

Probably doing that thing that gets in the way of fun ... WORK!! This event was Monday and Tuesday but I was lucky to have Monday off as President's Day. Great weather, too (Monday, at least).

Charley and Mule looked great thru 2 ...

Well, that's a bummer. Maybe I'll get to see the car in person when I go out there sometime.

But then again, I didn't like Laguna a whole lot. It's hard to get myself motivated to drive all way there when WSIR and Buttonwillow are close by.

Going out to WSIR (big track) with my buddy Brian on Mar. 12th, with opentrackracing.com. I finally decided to buy a lap timer, since these guys don't have AMB system. Also I did one fluke 1:42 lap last time out, but I'm not really sure what I did differently. Instantenouse feedback would help a lot.

I don't think the car sound you are hearing on the video is my car. It is very quiet. I had a video camera mounted inside but had the remote to control it clipped to te carpet and it came loose. I kept grabbing it and trying to press the right button but realized I was gonna get in a wreck if i kept paying attention to the remote and not the track. Another session I thought I had it on but didn't. No idea on lap times, I was just trying to learn the track.

There was a blue vette ahead of Charlie, it was very loud and I don't know how he got away with it that loud at this event.
