Hello all,

I've got my car on it's wheels, the body panels bolted on, and the engine installed. I'm starting to think about wiring her all up. I plan to install the engine in the trunk. Where have you all installed your Ignition solenoid? I want to keep the engine bay as clean as possible. I'm thinking of installing the solenoid in the trunk near the battery...just wanted to see others did first.

thanks in advance for any suggestions

I assume you mean the BATTERY will be in the trunk, and are refering to the starter solenoid.
You can run a cable to your existing starter solenoid and leve it on the fenderwell, or move it forward to where your battery used to be to clean things up a bit. Use extra heavy cable of min. 2 gauge or bigger "0" or "00" would be better. Also, upgrade your ground cable as well. Very important

The closer you put the solenoid to the starter, the better off you will be. This will also reduce the length of your ignition leads...
