I have taken some pics and hopefully some of you can help me on this..my freind who knows how to do this stuff has bailed on me and i have no real knowledge of this but I have been able to put the front of the car back on but the fender is rubbing the paint off the door on the drivers side...the thing thats wierd about this is we didnt even take this fender off...we loosened it b.c we had to replace the radiator support bushings but never took it all the way off..im not sure if its shimmin i need or to try to move the fender up...the hood is crooked too..i have provided pics....the passenger side door to fender gap is fine...and this is the fender thats been replaced....i need help and you guys are the experts on this..please help...pics provided below

Sorry about your mishap. It appears from the pics that you're missing shims under the bolt at the top of the fender. The body line at the top of the door should continue to the top of the fender and the fender looks low in the pics. The door bumper moulding doesn't appear to line up even either.

Before changing anything get some good auto painting masking tape and use it to protect the edges of the door, fender, and hood. Loosen the top bolts and shim up the fender to line up with the door. The bottom bolt is used to not only get the bottom of the fender flush with the door and rocker but also to create the correct "bow" by using shims so the middle of the door is also flush with the fender. Open and close carefully watching for interference.

As for the hood, was it fitted with correct gaps before it was painted?
