I uploaded a bunch of the build photos of Project Flyin' Blind that I have taken over the past 7 years into a photo bucket album. A lot of what you see is going away (parts are for sale in the for sale section) and Frank, Michael and Lisa at Prodigy are about to start the transformation from restored Camaro to true pro-touring Camaro... I have lots of ideas, it's just what my wallet can afford that will determine how bad a$$ she turns out at first. Just click on the link in my signature to take you to all the pictures of getting her to where she is today.

Great project. Do you by chance have more info on the Lokar e-brake setup? I see a little spacer and some other hardware. Details?

I took this from Mark Steilow's Mule build in pro-touring magazine. Basically I laid out the Lokar handle assembly where I could easily reach it from the front seat, where the assembly would still be on a flat portion of the trans tunnel. Then I measured out where the assembly mounting holes were and where the trim ring mount would go and I transferred those measurements to a template that I took in and had cut out of 1/2 inch billet, which helped space the assembly high enough that it wouldn't interfere with the driveshaft, then I drilled holes for the mount and welded nuts under the trans tunnel, the trim ring holes were drilled and tapped so the trim ring mounts through the carpet into the aluminum spacer.

For the adjuster mount, I figure out how far back everything would be then a made a construction paper template of the arch of the trans tunnel at this location. I had a 3/4 inch tall piece of aluminum that was about 1" deep x 3.5" wide then I drilled the holes for the mount bolt into it and counter sunk areas for the socket head bolts I was using then I band sawed the arch into it, so there was a piece that mounted on top of the trans tunnel and one that mounted below, this gave me a flat mounting surface under the tunnel where I could mount the brake adjuster.

Then I just used hose separators and line mounts to route the cables to the rear end and keep them up off of the driveshaft. Really not hard to do, just make sure you measure everything a few times to be sure you've got it right. I can't remember now, but the template measurements may even be in the pro-touring mag article.

Here are a few shots of the install:

George..your car looks pretty damn nice already. It's going to be sick when it leaves hurricane prodigy. Really digging that sparco back seat cover and many other details.

Thanks for the compliment, the back seats really did turn out nice. Frank said he is going to see what we can do to minimize the mods to the back seat due to the minitubs going in. There are areas on them that we can eliminate without really taking away too much of the look.
If the interior turns out even close to what I see in my mind, it will be amazing.

That thing is looking good man! Is it a pewter color, or is it silver? Most of the pictures of it look like it's got kind of a pewter color, but the ones where you're yanking the rear out look silver. Either way... sweet ride.

It's a crazy color, I usually tell people it is a pewter-goldish-silvery-charcoal color, because it really depends on the lighting. The black Z-28 stripes really set it off. Once we are all finished I will get some professional shots done to post.
