Are they worth the money?

I remeber a couple years back, in PHR, and the engine masters series, everyone was going to dcoatings, but I haven't seen it mentioned as much any more.

I'm a big fan, especially if you plan to push it hard. You don't hear about it much because it's almost become a 'standard' move. All the big bearing makers sell pre-coated bearings now, which should tell you something.

Personally, I'll never build another engine without coatings. They just plain work!
