Second Skin Sound Deadener

I am sure a few of you remember, Second Skin (www.secondskinaudio.com (http://www.secondskinaudio.com)) had a giveaway here a few months ago and i was lucky enough to win a pack of their damplifier pro door pack. I was lucky enough to have a warm weekend here recently so i decided to install this on my 67.

Since my interior is not in the car at the moment i do not know what the final result will sound like but i must say that i am very impressed with what i have seen so far. The door pack has 13sq feet and that is enough to line the entire inside of the door and put a layer in the 1/4 window area in the back seat. The install is very easy, just peel and stick where you want it, and there is no bad "tar" smell, that i have heard people complain about with cheap brands of insulation.

When i put the liner to the "knock test" it performed just like i thought it would, the door sounded nice and solid like a new luxury car rather than hollow and old like the old truck that grandpa owned.

Overall i am very happy with the product and I plan to buy enough to do the rest of the interior as soon as i am at that point in the build :)

Do you have pics, also when you said inside the door do you mean inside the door skin or just behind the door panel? I have some left over from the floor and I'm going to do the doors, I just don't know which area is better to do.

sure, i will get some pictures up tonight, I did the inside of the door skin because i didnt want the door to sound so hollow, I may add some insulation behind the door panel later when i am focusing on the interior

We have a single 5 gallon bucket of Spectrum Sludge that has been sitting here for a while. It was a prototype that we mixed up an never sold.
