I have a 2002 LS1 transplant out of Z28. I bought the new GM valve covers and some brackets from Nasty performance to move the coils up high. I also purchased some billet fuel rails and plan on painting the intake the color as the body. My question is what can I/need to get rid of off my current (stock) setup?

I want to go from this:

Get rid of all emissions fittings and wires. Get the coils and the electric wires going to them off the engine. Then just make sure you cleanly install the remaining wires. You can paint your valvce covers or powder coat them. You can sand them down and polish them if you'd like. You can paint or powder coat the fuel rail if you mask off all the ports. Do what ever you like with the brackets as well. It's really not that difficult to make it look good if you do the first things I mentioned. These engines look so much better when the coils are not mounted on top of them and all the vacuum hoses are off the engine. Making those changes alone has a great impact on how it looks. After that, do what you like.

That is a good looking install. Anybody know what a/c bracket that is or is it custom. Looks like corvette accessories.
