6.0 GM truck motor in 1st gen Camaro???

Just curious as to how close the truck motor is to a LS1/LS2? How different is mounting? Can a T56 hook up to it? Is it worth the trouble?

Look up LQ4 and LQ9 (the designations for the truck motors). They are GenIII based so yes, just like an LS1/6. There are a few threads of people doing them now. I know "DCx" and some fireman type name guys are doing them.

Buddy, check out the 2nd link that Nick posted. Yes...a great candidate for your car. You can get some serious power out of them. Probably more than you can get out of a stock bottom LS1.
