Hey guy's newbie here with a couple of wiring questions.Just bought this 69 with the LT1 out of a 95 trans am already in it,the guy that had the car already had some of the wiring done(using computer and wiring out of the trans am),I'm trying to wire the alternator and fan's up,ok the alternator has one wire for power on the stud coming out of alternator, the plug in the back has one red wire coming out of it,i was thinking it would have about three so what gives and if the plug is right where would the wire go.Now for the fan's, look's like the plug has been cut it has a blue, white and two black wires which I'm thinking are grounds where would these wire in at.I know these subjects have been beat to death but just looking for some insight. Thanks for any help guys and this is a great website by the way.Oh also could the red wire that comes out of the plug be looped back to the positive stud on the alternator.THANKS AGAIN!

The single wire connector on the back of the alternator goes through a resistor then to the dash light on a 95 camaro. Attach a 300 ohm resister then to 12 volts when key is in "run" position.
Not sure if you have the relays out of the 95 camaro or are just looking at the connectors at the fan.
The fans are commanded on by the computer through relays. Out of the PCM - pin location A11 - dark green wire controls the primary fan and A10 - dark blue wire controls the secondary one. A pins are in the red PCM connector.
From the relays, a Lt. Blue goes to B terminal of the primary fan and a Brown wire goes to the B terminal of the seconady fan. The black wires out of the A terminals of the fans go to groud.

I has CSI alt on my 70 Monte Carlo and simply ran the 12 volt wire from regualtor harness looped inside the regulator to one of the alt wires and hook it to the F terminal of the alt plug(this is assuming you have the black plug. The big wire coming from the S terminal just loop it back to the battery post , I do like to solder in about 4 to 6 inches of 14 ga fuse link wire. I also recommend soldering all connections. If you have factor idiot light simply feed power to wiring, and ground the alt wiring to seewhich one turns on the idiot light (or if you still have a regualtor plug loop the F wire to one of the wires to old alt plug, this would run it through the factory light.
I have honestly never had to run any resistors in any of the CSI alts I have installed.
