just thought id put this out to see if all the board members in the tornado areas are ok..wow that had to been scary as hell just looking from the pics..hope all is well and safe !!!!!!!!!!

We were very fortunate. The first cell went north, and the second must have detoured as well. I was awake when it got here, but promptly went to sleep when the rain started and the Dish went out. Jackson, TN is about an hour from here, and they were hammered.

My grandmother in Clinton Arkansas watched a twister go through her back property before heading for the root cellar. Tree and some minor roof damage to the house and barn was all though. Thank God - she is 80 and lives alone. However, she could take any of us in a fight - believe it.... She is a tough country girl and has dealt with these twisters since a young one.
My uncle is the county sheriff in the area also. I know he has had a few long nights and made a couple of calls on homes he would have perferred not to have to do. Seems he is always around the big stuff in Arkansas. He used to be a Jonesboro policeman and was the 1st on sight when those two kids shot up the school back in the 90's. Tough job sometimes....
