play of the game is definately Mannings escape and long pass to Tyree. that was amazing! the giants defense had to be the best i've seen in years.
who could have predicted brady getting sacked 4 times and being almost completely shut down. Great game!

Excellent football game, the Giants definitely outplayed the Pats but I was hoping for a Pats perfect season. :(

Congrats Giants fans! They played exactly the game they needed to play.

One thing I have to say about New England sports is that we have the most crushing losses and the greatest victories. Regardless of what anyone says, they are still among the greatest teams in NFL history. A superbowl win would have been the cherry on top. I'm sure they'll be back.

On behalf of the rest of the country.....let's hope not. 3 Superbowls is enough. I don't hate the Pats...I'm just burned out on them.

It was really funny to see how deflated Fox Sports was when the game was over. You could tell they were REALLY looking forward to all the Patriots banter about the newest "Greatest Team Of All-Time", the "Magic of Tom Brady who has escalated himself to the greatest quarterback ever", all the "Team Of Destiny" crap. They were really building it up, up until gametime, you could tell that this telecast was all about the Patriots and the Giants were just the guests to this historical and monumental occassion. And in one swift blow (a pass to Burress in the end zone) the wind in their sails was sucked right out.

Honestly....it was like they were struggling with what to say while having to fight back the disappointment.

Congrats to the G-Men....I think most of the country (save for the media) was on their side and a lot of people are smiling this morning.

18-1 = Losers. Using a cheating scandal to pump up a team, humiliating teams when they certainly didn't need to and spouting fake humility each week didn't get it done in the end. Karma strikes back and hits them square in the nose.

Some of the best plays was Brady on his backside courtesy of a strong Giants D and watching him scream at his receiver when Brady was the one who tossed the ball 20 feet over his head and out of bounds. Pretty Boy sure looked perplexed and upset throughout the game.

But the best was Belicheat being out coached by Coughlin..... I guess the dress up hoodie and going for it on 4th and 13 just didn't cut it. And what a classless act to not hang around for the last play. At least now we can refer to him as Belicheat or Belichoke.

Congrats Giants.... You certainly deserve the win and glory. Way to make the world right again!

Congrats to the G-men! They won the game with guts, defense, and just enough offense. Well done.

I am not a football fan, but I always make it a point to watch the Super Bowl. This was definitely one of the best games that I can recall watching. I could care less about who won, but I always seem to root for the underdog. So the whole game I was hoping that Giants would come out on top. Great game.

Bellichek leaving with 1 sec. left isn't classless. I'd call it an anal rule of the NFL. He went out and shook the Coach Coughlin's hand (in ernest this time) and he conceded at that point.

If the team concedes, it's a silly rule that makes everyone get off the field and line up for a 1 second play.

Belichick's sourpuss bad-loser attitude doesn't bother me too much because after all,Bill is Giant's family after masterminding their killer defense in SB championships past so I cut him some slack.

Defense wins SB's and the Giants showed a lot of class and a ton of heart this whole season...especially the last 2 months.

I hate football but it was a chance to party with my friends and I must say that this game might go down as one of the best games in sports Ive ever seen. It ranks up there with the kings vs lakers conference final a few years back or red wings vs colorado when the wings went on to win their first cup in over 50 years. All of us screamed at the top of our lungs when Manning broke the tackles of I believe three guys and that catch was just genious. The pats gave away the final touchdown though, cant remember who was covering in the endzone but he ended up giveing the reciever an extra 5 steps on the pass I couldnt believe it. This definitely goes down as one of those games where the favorite thinks they can just cruise to a victory (like the red wings thought theyd be able to do against the ducks last year) and instead got there ass kicked. Brady and the tea party forgot that the giants made it to the super bowltoo and that they should be given just as much respect as anyone else. Congrats Giants!!!
