Hi there,
Do you know some affordable wheels available in 18 and 19?
I wanted to go Smoothie II: no 19
same for Torque Thrust.

Which wheels available in 19 in the same style and same price range than Smoothie II?

Thanks

What's your definition of "affordable" ? Posting a price range will get you more responses.

I'd say he's looking in the TTII price range!!! no offense, but good luck.

Short answer, no, unless you can find a set used somewhere. I picked up a set of used C6 18x8.5 and 19x10 5-spoke wheels for $275...but then had to machine custom wheel adapters to give me the offset I needed. It still ended up being significantly cheaper than any other route, but it's not exactly the TTII or Smoothie look you seem to be going for either.

I'm going to have to agree with Apogee. You will be into two piece billet pricing. For Example, our 19" Rushforth Wheels are 662.50ea.

So, no cast wheels in 19"?
My budget is about $1500 max for 4 rims (I will buy tires locally).
So I suppose I must decide to go 18/18 or 18/20...
I want 27" tire front, and 28 or 29 rear.

Any pics of second gen with 18/20?

How about some after market BMW wheels? I got two new 18X8.5" and two 19X9.5" Stern Wheels from Unlimited Automobile Products delivered to my door (all four of them) for $650. I am currently getting the 19" rears widened to 12.5" so no pics with tires yet. Here is a pic without tires. https://static1.pt-content.com/images/noimg.gif

Wow I thought I had a screaming deal when I bought my 17s for $500 plus shipping. How can they do that? Thanks for the tip. Wish you were here 4 years ago.

Well, it's not exactly the same bolt patern.

I don't feel it's safe to run them at +100mph.

Search the board for others who have successfully run the BMW wheels that have a 120mm bolt pattern. In most cases an inexpensive set of hub-centric rings will center the wheel on the hub. The actual difference between a 4.75 bolt pattern and a 120mm pattern is 0.026" and remember that difference is spread across the whole bolt pattern. If you measure that on a caliper you will realize just how small of a difference this is, less than this !!
BTW in most cases traveling at 100 mph is not going to be safe.

I'm in France.
Here, legal speed limit on highway is 80mph, and many people drive at 100mph (lot less now because of speed traps). And Germany is near, and they don't have speed limits :) .
100mph is not a dangerous speed on an empty highway, except if your wheels got some movement because bad fitting or unbalance...

PS: I not usually drive fast, but I want to be able to do so sometime.

I think those wheels look really nice, but for a 9.5 wheel, the lip looks pretty shallow. I assume you are running a thick spacer with those?
Can't beat the price though! But you have to figure in the cost of a set of spacers as well... ($200+)?

The Camaro has been tubbed so no spacers required in the rear.

So, except expensive billet wheels, no 19 available?
