Hi Folks.

I'm looking for a 4 speed manual transmission for a 70 Olds 442 that I can attach a Hurst Competion Plus Shifter. The Olds engine will make 850hp and 800 pound of tourque. I look foward in hearing from anyone. Thank you.

I could probably find a Muncie 4 speed and I have a Competition Plus shifter.

With that type of power I'd be looking towrads the aftermarket..... Jerico or Tex... Maybe a Tex cased Super T-10

If it's going to be driven on the street (or god forbid the strip)and you have any traction at all, a stock Jerico or t101 isn't going to last long.

If you put drag race gear sets in the transmissions or just knew how to drive they'd be fine their tuff units...I have been building 101's Jericos Rankins and Midvalley transmissions for awhile you'd be amazed how strong they are
