I would like to get some new valve covers for Agent Orange.
What do you guys think?
Need some suggestions and pictures.
Show me what you got.
Here is a shot of the engine.
I have a new Dart Manifold being polished and a Holley 950 HP going on in a few days.
Thanks,
Brian

I would have to say body color. Get some fabricated valve covers and have them painted. Sick car by the way!!

I like these also. But they have no holes for breathers.

Thanks,
I had that thought too.
Was thinking of painting the Cast GM the color of the car.
But again no breather holes?

Nothing a hole saw and a grommet or breather system won't fix. Check out my setup on my project.

I have a set of those gm ones but there polished. Had to drill the holes in them and it wasn't a problem..

I guess I'm kinda partial... :) I have a remote breather on the passenger side of the motor. Drilled hole and had a Moroso bung setup for the oil fill. Only stands like 3/8" high, not noticable at all.

It looks like your engine is black. So, I would go with the black Chevrolet valve cover with the aluminum lettering.

I think Billet Specialties sells the kit for vavle covers that do not have holes. After you cut the hole the pieces screw together. One comes from the inside of valve cover and screws into the one on outside of cover. This way you could use the Chevrolet covers.

While I'm partial to the cast aluminum covers, as I have them for my small block, I think these are awesome.

i think that billet specialties also has valve covers that are carved from a chunk of billet. Real pricey too, I think like a grand a set. I can't imagine them selling to well when there are so many other options out there.

here's another vote for body color GM valve covers :woot:
but since your block and everything else underhood is black I suppose black would be the color of choice lol

Those are very nice. They look very vintage.
I could see them more on a street rod, but maybe.

Has anyone polished the GM cast covers and maybe paint the scrip black or orange?
