Small updates

Hit up a salvage yard with a friend over the weekend looking for some sheetmetal, of course nothing was there and what was had been picked over pretty good. I did score a set of bullet mirrors off an 80 Z28 though.

As you can see in the pics I started gutting the interior so I can get the floorpans redone.
I plan on getting the interior nicely redone, adding discs up front, overhauling the suspension then roughing in the body and priming it so I can just drive it some through the summer. Next winter I'll blow it apart and go to town.
Also scored a 400 4bolt main Ram Air II block off a friend that was a former Pontiac geek. The guy he got it from claimed it was out of a Comp Cams test car. Who knows for sure but it's still standard bore, just needs a hone and the crank polished.

I like the mirrors I have been looking for a bullet mirror to put on my 69. Now I know which ones I will looking for:cool: .

Nice project did you have to grind much off the bottom of the mirror they fit nice.

Thanks guys. The mirrors actually went right on. There's a small gap between the post and the rubber at the bottom front edge that I would like to take care of, either by adding some material or trimming them up a bit.
