Basically a stock motor
Only mods. are
238/240 duration 605/609 lift Comp cam kit
Underdrive pulley
1 3/4" Hooker conversion headers
3" exhaust
GTO 6 speed with LS7 clutch
12 bolt rear with 3.73 gears

Its a 3" headman x-pipe with 2 chamber 40 series flowmasters dumped before the axle.

That's a pretty big cam, didn't you lose alot of low end with such a big duration? Most guys I see run something more in the neighborhood of 224-230 duration...

To be honest, I have nothing to compare it too. No before and after. I did alot of reasearch on the GTO site before making my cam choice. Some commented on only a slight loss, but most were still running a stock gear. Since my car has the 3.73 rear and weighs 700 lbs less than a GTO I decided to go with it. I can tell you that the car accelerates very well without exceeding 3000 rpms through the gears with great throttle response.

Good to hear you're happy with it. If you ever decide you need a little more, a budget set of heads slightly milled to increase compression will give you more boost back in the low end. Check out www.ls1.com for a ton of posts on heads/cam setups.
