I am thinking of getting some black Z06 Motorsports for my 67, would it be possible to run a 18x9.5f and 19x11 rear, with proper spacers of course? Would I need a mini tub to run a wheel that wide? The reason I want to go with those is so I can swap them back and forth with my C5 every now and then just to change things up. If the 19's will not work, would an 18x10.5 rear be better? Let me know what you guys think. Thanks.

The 19x11's are out. They are about 600 bucks more than the 18x10.5 rears!!

hey Red, anything over 8" will require work on a 67'. Unless you like the tractor pull look. 10.5's will require a mini tub.Might as well go 315's on 11's

I have 9.5's on the rear of my '67 without work, and it doesn't have the 'tractor pull' look.

I didn't want to second guess anyone, but I thought there were a bunch of guys running 9.5's w/out any problems.

I stand corrected. did you have to roll the lip at all? Looks good

Redbull, please don't feel bad about second guessing or correcting people here, we are all trying to get the best and most up to date information out there. When I stated the 8" comment I was just going by my experience and forgot the fact that all cars are different and some pakages work well with others. I don't know how many times I had typed the words "please measure your space". Remember my ideas are not gospil and if I get out of hand or state something you don't agree with just type the acronym STFU-Vince. It works for the old timers here :icon996: BTW do you have a link for place that sells those rims you had in mind...I know of a Z06 looking for 335's. thanks!
Is the spell check working??

9.5's in the back would work but you would have big problems trying to run them that large in the front on a stock subframe.

Quick, no worries on doubting your post, I just wanted to make sure. I don't have many posts here and didn't want to start off on the wrong foot with anyone! Here are a couple of links for two different styles of wheels I am thinking about. They are the black ones.

The second link is for 18x8.5f and 19x10 rears, I like them better and I think they would be easier to run on the front than the 9.5's!! Later.

Vince,
No, I didn't have to roll the lip..but it will be close if I put 275's on (but I still think I can get away with it).

Thanks Gary, looking good by the way.... Red, thanks for the links, I remember the post about the cheap(er) 18x12's a while back...looks like Iforged are on the Z06's menu. Its gonna get a wide body kit and 335's. thanks again guys
