No upshift on my 200r4

My 200r4 doesn´t shift anymore, (all of a sudden). If i put it into drive, it does not shift into second gear. Reverse is OK. Does anyone have an idea?

Did this happen while driving the vehicle or after it was setting for awhile? There are several items it could be. Does your speedometer work? If not you have stripped the governor gear. If the speedometer works, then you could have a stuck T.V. (throttle valve). Check your detent cable and ensure everything is hooked up and working well. If so, while your vehicle is off stomp the throttle 3 - 4 times to the floor, then start it up and drive it, see if it shifts. That may sound odd, but just try it. If you still have nothing let me know and I will try and help you out.

Hi Mark, thanks for your reply. It isn´t easy to find someone in Germany, where i live,that can help you with american cars. I am more of an engine type of guy, and don´t mess with transmissions, other than installing a shift kit or so.
Anyway, the problem i have,started on the Autobahn, while doing about 60 mp/h. First there was some noise that i thought came from the rear end. then i left the highway and i noticed that the Trans was slipping. ( the rpm would go up and the car wouldn´t go faster).
After that, the problem that i have now, was there.
I will have to check if the speedometer is still working,i really don´t know.

klingt wirklich nach verbrannten kupplungen oder evtl. auch das 1-2 band. getriebespezies gibts in DE schon genug aber machs selber. besorg dir das haynes GM automatic transmission overhaul. nachdem mein 800HP th 200 4r abgekackt ist hab ich mir das buch gekauft und das getriebe komplett zerlegt und neu aufgebaut. jetzt funktioniert alles so wie es sollte und hält auch. ich war genau wie du ein spezialist für motoren und hab mich nicht an getriebe getraut aber wie bei vielem.....machs selber und du weisst was du daran hast.....

@MarkB, it took me a while now, but i finally checked it, and yes, the speedo doesn´t work. What do you think, should i junk it or mess with it?
@ camaro427-69 eh alder danke für die Antwort. If you live in Germany, why don´t you go ahead and fix it for me? You don´t have to do it for nothing.
