Hello All -
I have been viewing this site for nearly a year now, but finally decided to join and seek some help.
I know that most people here are working on musclecars of some sort. However, I am planning a build on a '91 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. I know it's a little odd as a starting platform, but I have some personal reasons for choosing it.
Anyway, the truck will get an LS1 from an '02 Firebird, and likely a 4L80E. Long range plans call for serious brake and suspension upgrades. Take a look at Tod Hoffman's 454 SS on this site; that is something like what I am shooting for.
I suspect this will take me several years to complete, as I am on a very limited budget and have precious little time to put into it, but I'll get there eventually. I look forward to getting to know some of you and picking your brains for help when I need it.
