Edelbrock ls1 headers for chevelle?

Has anyone tried the edelbrock ls1 headers for a chevelle? How good do you think the 1 3/4 steped to 1 7/8 are?

I don't believe any have shipped yet. I have had a set on order since December. When I originally ordered they said it would be till at least mid-January. The last update I was told first week of Feb.
