I often follow Michael home form work, him in his Monte Carlo SS with 335s. I end up following him becuase I simply love to look at the car driving down the road!. Lisa pointed it this out to me a couple weeks ago, and she is right. I am infactuated with those big tires!

i pulled up a favorite GN of mine (a duramax powered GN) he has some MTs on the rear end of it and it looks killer. the website to the car is www.18to1.com so i think im going to do it. i just hope i can get my car lower then that one!

Definitely do it!! Some 19x12s would look sick on a G-Body. Where's the shop? Let me know if you need any local help.

I don't know... I think less is more in the case of 18 to 1.

I am wanting to notch the frame & put about 315s out back. I don't think you can get 335's on with just a frame notch. Is the extra work worth an extra .75" inch worth of tire?

I run 315/30R18's in the rear. 10" wide rim and a simple frame notch lowered 1.5" on my GN. 5.5" backspace, LS1 rear discs. I dont see why you would go any wider unless you are going with a full tub.

Any pics? Would like to see what the tire looks like on the rim.

hey guys, im going to go with the 19x12s and i want to use the simmons fr series wheels. just trying to find a place that is a dealer so i can order my rears. Im going to go check out the sizes of different tires tommarow.

jason the shop is located in monroe just outside the fair grounds, i think hes calling it "total velocity racing" or something like that. Him and his friend (a pastor of some local rock type church) build and race cars for a living and this is something they just started to get in to. they have already been working on an 800hp ford lightning a 1000 hp nova and i think a few camaros. They will be doing my GTO as well when the time comes.

megaladon6: go ahead

i checked out some 315s next to some 335s they look pretty damn close. i looked on ls1tech.com and alot of guys are running a 315 on a 10inch wheel. with no problems.
