are there factory hydro boost s setups being used on 1st gen camaros. ive heard reference to maybe using a mustang cobra hydro boost but i dont have any other details as far as year, i have not seen one installed. i found a new factory gm hydroboost from kodiak truck on ebay and wanted to know if this would be an option. how are these rated, size or pressure wise for the type of brake applications we are using. any info will help, just now learning aobut hydroboost. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7935264966&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT

I'm using a setup from 76-78 Cadillac Eldorado/Seville. I have the master cylinder, hydroboost, and combination valve from a 1976 Eldorado. The rear calipers are from a 78 Seville. These calipers are basically the large single piston calipers used on the front of early 70's GM cars. They have parking brakes built in. You can use your stock power steering pump. Yuu juat have to make a tee fitting to join the two return lines.

ALl of these parts are available new/rebuiilt from most parts house except the combination valve. I found mine on ebay. If you want more info drop me an email - [email protected]

There is a guy on this forum that goes by MarkC(?) that has done this to his 68. Look for his contact info in the members list. He should be able to help you out.
