Just like the title says. Little confused. Wil that set up give me 4" f drop in the front?(Not what i want) Which would be better? 2" spindles stock springs or 2" lowering springs and stock spindles. Thanks guys.

-2+ -2= -4
Sorry couldn't ressist. If you only wnat to lower your car 2" stick with the shorter springs. Drop spindles aren't going to do anything good for you. Search.

I'll say first off I am no suspension expert by a long shot. 2+2 still =4.
IIRC,drop spindles won't affect suspension geometry at all, and will keep ride quality like oem.
2" lowering springs will require sinificant changes to alignment to get camber back where it should be, and you will likely end up with a stiffer ride depending on spring rates.
That said, I went with coil-overs! :dunno: JMHO

there is a sticky around here with all the problems with drop spindles. the alignment change from springs can be corrected with adjustable upper arms at worst. you want this anyway as the stock alignment numbers suck.

i ran dropped spindles before no problems, you just have to be choosey on wheel selection....
i ran a 2" dropped spindles with a 2' hotckis dropped springs and the stance was dead nuts however i wanted more tunability so i went with coil overs....
it handled like stock, no more no less

Is it just me, or would it help to know what car is being working on?
Also, when discussing drop spindles, it may be significant to specify that there are stock height drop spindles and taller-drop spindles available. The taller drop spindles (Fat Man, Heidts, etc) mimic a tall upper ball joint for geometry purposes to address some of the negative camber curve issues common on early A/F/X-Bodies, but there are still other issues not resolved by the "improved" geometry. Read the sticky...lot's of good info from lots of different folks.
