18x12.5 on camaro ?

I can get a killer deal on some 18x12.5 fikse wheels anyone running a wheel this wide on a 69 camaro? Also what size tire would you run on it I was thinking a 335. I will be mini tubbing it an running a quadra link. I did a search but couldn't find ay answers next step is to call DSE tomorrow thanks.

I think DSE will tell you the 12.5 is too wide. Makes the sidewall nearly a full half inch wider then a 12" wheel which causes trouble.

Well I called DSE today and they said they thought the wheels would fit. Said I would have to roll wheel lips and possibly widen tubs. They said that they had never really tried to put 12.5s on so they could'nt give me a definate answer. I think I'll pass to avoid opening a potential can of worms. Besides I can get a set of budnicks that look about the same for around the same price.

Yeah, they would just ballon the sidewalls enough to cause a minor headache.
