Alright guys I'm about to tackle the steering on my car and was wondering if anyone witha big block has found a way to get headers on with power steering.Everyone local says i have to dent the header to do so but thats out of the question.I'm not about to spend big ching on ceramic headers just to destroy them.Does the steeroids kit take care of it?

First gen Camaro?

If so, the Hedman Elite #68198 (1 3/4" X 3 ) headers will clear the PS box if the correct frame stands and motor mounts are used.

Here's proof:

Which frame stands and mounts are needed? I'm getting ready to drop a 383 into my 68. The original engine was a 327. Which stands and mounts will make my life easier? Any chance I can re-use the original 327 stands with 350 mounts?

Your small bock mounts should be fine. I found out the hard way you cannot mix Big block mounts with small block and vice versa. Stay with the small block frame mounts and you should be OK. .bber

What stands and mounts are you using? I bought the elites part #HED-68278 (small block) I had to beat the crap out of the tube to clear the steering box. It is a quick ratio box.
