We don't have it here because TV execs think we wont "get" British humor.

...because apparently nobody in the US liked Monty Python, The Young Ones, Benny Hill and Tracy Ullman.

The show has made it to US tv on a couple of occasions though heavilly edited (so we will "get it" :bsjerk: ) and there was an utterly craptastic attempt at a US made version of Top Gear. It lacked everything good about the UK version.

acutualy nbc is starting to work on a american version of top gear. work just started so im sure we wont see it anytime soon.

Top Gear is hilarious. That's the only car sho my wife will sit down and watch with me. LAst week's episode where they tried to build the car in the time it took Stig to get from the Surry to Scotland. Priceless. The pulling the camper on holiday was the best though. Burned right to the ground and had to tow it back.
